Ghostbusters (2016)

Ghostbusters isn’t a great movie, but it really isn’t as bad as the internet would lead you to believe- in fact I found it quite entertaining when taken on its own merits. Most enjoyable were Leslie Jones, who did well here despite me disliking most of her work on SNL, and Kate McKinnon, who not only stole every scene she was in, but had the best scene in the whole movie during the third act’s climactic showdown.

Release Date: July 15th, 2016

Rotten Tomatoes Score: 72%

I will not be including a trailer with this review as I feel the trailers are INCREDIBLY misleading as to the style and quality of the movie.
